We’re creating a new ecosystem of refugee housing by acquiring and developing properties that are earmarked exclusively for forcibly displaced people. These homes will eventually be sold to resident refugees at an affordable rate through a lease-to-own program. Proceeds from the sale are poured directly back into developing more homes.

This enables first-generation newcomers to become wealth creating, equity building, home owners, and establishes a self-generating system that produces more and more refugee housing over time. From both the perspective of refugees resettling in a new home and those seeking to support them, TRP’s housing system changes the course of what refugee resettlement can look like.
